All star game in October may not be a good idea. First of all, weather will not be good to attract crowd. Second of all, all players would be looking for a break at the end of the season and may not be interested in this extravaganza towards the end of the season.
In my opinion, all star game has to be played in July or August to attract player and crowd interest.
